We are now doing sumo mobile meetings to help out people who have questions regarding b2g and other mobile related products with mozilla support some of the suggestions we have got is to do video tutorials
The channel meetings will be 10am pst starting from today in #planning

As some of you has seen Thunderbird now has a IM (Instant Messaging) feature built into it
The reason for this was because of peoples feedback asking for a IM feature on thunderbird
Greetings Firefox Testers,
I’m writing today to ask for help testing the Windows 8 Classic version with Firefox. On Friday, Sept 21, we will be having a testday in the #testday channel on irc.mozilla.org. Please come by and help us try to find bugs in Firefox using Windows 8 Classic (Note: recently released RTM build 9200 is required).
Please familiarize yourself with our testplan before joining the testday. We’ll have moderators in the channel to help answer questions and provide guidance. This event is open to everyone, even those with no testing experience. So stop by do some exploratory testing – you just might find a bug that we can fix before the product ships in October!

The reason i started volunteering for a big organisation like Mozilla was because of the open source work they do, I have done SUMO, REMO, SumoDEV and Accessibility and now QA
