Hello Everyone i am just writing to let you to know what as of today sweetim has been blocked
- Why was it blocked?
- This add-on is silently installed along with other software, without user consent. It changes settings like the homepage and other search preferences, also without consent. It is generally regarded as malware and most users didn’t intend to install it.
- Who is affected?
- All Firefox users who have this add-on installed.
- What does this mean?
- Users are strongly encouraged to disable the problematic add-on or plugin, but may choose to continue using it if they accept the risks described.

I really wish Mozilla was more aggressive and more consistent in applying malicious addon blocks.The policy mentions when blocks *can* be used, but not when they *should* be. It also mentions but doesn’t define a “high bar”. It doesn’t mention that there is actually someone making the decision.
In practice, one can file a bug to blacklist something, but no matter how good or bad the arguments are it can then be simply ignored forever and that’s that. Good to see an exception!
